According to the latest Mastercard LoveIndex study shopping for Valentine's Day increase up 17% globally. Valentine’s Day is that date of the year when romantics across the world, as well as in Serbia,  are spending more than ever before, with overall transactions in the lead up to Valentine’s Day (11-14 Feb) up by 31% over the past three years. Consumers increasingly spending more money on priceless experiences, and much less to buy traditional gifts such as flowers, jewelry and love cards. Increase in hotel bookings up 22% and flights to romantic getaways up 13% shows us that the trend of gifting ‘experiences’ are becoming first choice.
