AIK Bank, Mastercard and APEX introduce new payment method in public transportation

#smartcities concept is becoming reality in Belgrade because as of January 2018, it will be possible to pay transit fares in all vehicles by using Mastercard contactless cards. Contactless payments will be made by tapping any Mastercard contactless card, issued both in the country and abroad, against the vehicle validator, upon which the device will signal a successful payment with a sound and a message on its display. Each contactless transaction is protected by multilayer safety mechanisms which already apply to Mastercard contactless payments.
