AIK Banka launches eWallet

AIK Bank has launched the latest form of contactless payments via mobile phone - eWallet, a mobile application from AIK Bank designated for Android devices, which enables making payments at POS terminals which accept Mastercard contactless cards both in the country and abroad. This technology represents a kind of a digital card on a mobile phone, which AIK Bank customers can obtain in just a few minutes from submitting a request, and the eWallet application can be downloaded free-of-charge from the Play Store. AIK Bank is the only domestic bank that has implemented the card number tokenization technology for eWallet payments, by using Mastercard Cloud Based Payments (MCBP) technology, which adds another layer of safety to the card payments which have become a standard part of everyday commercial activities in Serbia.
