Babcock signed a contract with JSC "MACEDONIAN POWERPLANTS" (ELEM)

Babcock Borsig Steinmüller GmbH Germany has signed on December the 16th, a cooperation agreement with the JSC "MACEDONIAN POWERPLANTS" (ELEM), the largest producer of electricity in Macedonia, for the modernization of all three Power Plant Bitola boiler plants (3 x 225 MW). The contract was signed by Dr. Georg Gasteiger, Chairman of Babcock Borsig Steinmüller GmbH and CEO of JSC "Macedonian Power Plants," Dr. Vlatko Cingoski. The completion period of modernization is 3 years, and the total investment for the project of modernization of Power Plant Bitola is 90 million Euros.
