Company Dr.Oetker congratulated all journalists, editorial boards and editors World Press Freedom Day World Press Freedom Day is celebrated annually on May 3 throughout the world. On May 3, 1991, the Windhoek Declaration (that confirmed the main press freedom principles) was adopted. This holiday was established 18 years ago by the United Nations General Assembly to increase attentiveness of the importance of freedom of the press and remind governments of their responsibility to defend and support the human’s and press’s right to freedom of expression.
