Joint Danube Survey

International team of scientists taking part in the third Joint Danube Survey has discovered that the water in the middle of the river is often unaffected by high concentrations of bacteria, associated with wastewater, wastewater treatment plants, or polluted tributaries. However, river sides are much more affected. The two research expedition ships have now reached Budapest.
