MOL and the Government of Serbia Sign Shareholders' Agreement on the Governance of NIS

The Government of Serbia and MOL have signed a shareholders’ agreement defining the future governance model of Oil Industry of Serbia (NIS). Under the agreement, MOL Group has committed that, should it successfully become the majority owner of the company, it will ensure NIS’s continued development, secure fuel supply for the Serbian market, and the ongoing operation of the Pančevo Oil Refinery. In addition to the conclusion of a share purchase agreement, the transaction remains subject to the necessary regulatory approvals.
MOL Group also announced that it will continue negotiations with Gazprom Neft regarding the acquisition of its 56.15% ownership stake in NIS.
