More than nine million mobile subscribers by 2018

Ericsson, the world''s leading supplier of telecommunications services and technologies, presented the most significant projects and achievements in 2012 at the media working breakfast which was held in Belgrade.The focus was on "Mobility Report", a study conducted by Ericsson. According to the study, the number of mobile subscribers worldwide, by the end of the year, will be more than 6.6 billion, while that number by 2018 will exceed nine billion. Mobile data traffic is doubled in the period from the third quarter of 2011 until the third quarter of the 2012, and Ericsson predicts that by 2018 data traffic will increase by 12 times.
