Protocol on Forestry in the Carpathians signed

WWF global organization for the protection, support the decision of the government of the seven signatory countries of the Carpathian Convention to protect the most valuable forest complex in Europe, which includes the largest remaining virgin forest and natural forest outside Russia. Government ministers from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Ukraine signed the Protocol on sustainable management of forests of the Carpathian Convention on Friday 27 May 2011.
