SAP Academy – CEE young talents at recruiting “bootcamp”

Young people make up 40% of the world’s unemployed, however at the same time, leaders around the world have difficulties in filling open positions as today’s workforce is lacking the required skills. And this is one of todays’ greatest challenges, impacting economic growth and sustainable development. Simon Kaluža, CEE MD: “We need sharp young minds to solve todays pressing challenges, but to come to the table with their disruptive ideas young people need the education, a voice and access. For that, we as business, have to take the step toward them in a way that is suitable.” In order to achieve this goal SAP, global technology company, decided on a new recruiting and training model with the aim to find the best talents, train them and give them a job opportunity in a working environment with high degree of collaboration and continuous feedback.SAP Sales Academy, was launched in 2013, and this year students from Central – Eastern Europe, including Serbia, were invited to join. After the first selection, 14 finalists from Serbia, Slovenia, Hungary and Slovakia were invited to a second selection that is to the so called recruitment “bootcamp”, a whole-day assessment event that took place in Ljubljana. At the recruitment bootcamp finalists will attend: a discussion panel about a specific business issue, a sales strategy meeting, presentation preparation and presentation to the client and also one on one assessment with SAP managing directors from CEE countries.
