Serbia turned off the lights to save the planet

WWF - World Wildlife Foundation organized on Saturday 31. march 2012. from 20:30 to 21:30 pm campaign called Earth Hour 2012, so far the largest voluntary action for environmental protection. In the campaign 6494 towns took part from 150 countries. Lights were turned off on many buildings in order to draw attention to the consequences of excessive consumption, emissions of greenhouse gases and climate change. Central events and concerts were held in Serbia on Belgrade''s Republic Square in the center of Novi Sad and Nis Fortress.
