On average, one hot dog is sold every 1.5 seconds at MOL Group's service stations across Central and Eastern Europe. By the time someone finishes reading an average sentence, another 20 hot dogs have been sold. Over the past year, customers purchased more than 47 million hot dogs across the network, nearly 3 million more than during the previous 12-month period, representing a 6.6% year-on-year increase.
Every road trip has its familiar rituals: refueling or charging the vehicle, grabbing a coffee, stretching your legs – and for many travelers, stopping for a hot dog has become part of the journey. Sales over the past year show that this classic street food remains one of motorists' favorite on-the-go choices across the region.
